Keilana Burgess (UA)
The 2025 UCHSSoftball.com's Newcomer of the Year is Union Academy’s Keilana Burgess. As a freshman Keilana hit .444 on the season with 32 hits, scored 28 runs and knocked in 25 RBI while hitting 8 doubles, 2 triples while stealing 8 bases for the Cardinals. Went 3-for-3 twice as a freshman. Recorded 2+ hits in a game 7 times. Drove in 2+ RBI in a game 5 times. Keilana was named honorable mention All-UCHSSoftball while helping Union Academy to a 29-1 record overall, a Yadkin Valley Conference Title (10-0) and THE 2025 1A STATE TITLE! Congrats Keilana!
